Wellness Testing for the Life Stages of Your Pet
The Sunnyside Animal Clinic has established a preventative Wellness Program that focuses on the Life Stages your pet will progress through: Juvenile, Adult, Senior and Geriatric. Our goal is to provide you with the knowledge and tools necessary to ensure that your pet has the longest and healthiest life possible. The program emphasizes prevention and the early detection of disease whenever possible. Use the Life Stage Chart to identify the proper life stage of your pet based on its age and weight.

- Life Stage Information
- Wellness Testing Recommendations for Your Specific Pet
- Dietary Recommendations
- Conduct a general physical examination and record the body weight
- Check for external parasites and dermatophytes and initiate appropriate therapy
- Fleas, ticks, and ear mites (Otodectes cyanotis)
- Mange mites, especially Demodex canis and Sarcoptes scabiei
- Dermatophytes, particularly Microsporum spp. and Trichophyton mentagrophytes
- Conduct fecal examination - fecal flotation
